Connecting to Reliable Link BBS

Enter the browser terminal, find the boards and door games, and leave cleanly.

Board through the browser

  1. Open ReLink from the channel briefing.
  2. Start its browser terminal and follow the welcome screen.
  3. Sign in with your BBS account, or follow the registration prompts if you are new.
  4. Use the menu keys shown by the BBS. Click or tap inside the terminal when it needs keyboard focus.

Your BBS account belongs to ReLink. A mailbox or chat login is not automatically a BBS login.

Find something to do

Reliable Link is now part of the FTN NixNet, announced on 2026-10-22. Look to the BBS's own menus and notices for the message areas currently offered. Membership does not mean every area is available through every interface.

The BBS has message boards, file areas, chat, and door games. A door game is a separate programme launched from the BBS. Follow its own help and exit instructions to return to the board.

On a phone, use the on-screen keyboard as needed. A physical keyboard is helpful for games with many commands. If a terminal display becomes awkward after rotating the device, return to the BBS menu and let it redraw.

Other ways aboard

The station also lists telnet access. Consult ReLink's own entrance page for current connection details. This manual does not guess a port or replace the live BBS instructions.

Use the BBS's logoff command when you are finished. For persistent connection trouble, send a problem report.

The door games are optional. Returning from them is strongly encouraged.
